![]() ![]() ![]() Have you checked for any PCM codes? This system can have codes even without showing a check engine light. Is the EGR system still present and working> Is the fuel pressure maintained at 39psi under sustained full throttle acceleration? You cannot rely on the O2 sensors to compensate for this, as many of the 460 factory calibrations don't operate in closed loop fuel control. It could be that your mods have made this part of the calibration inaccurate, causing your hesitation.Īlso, are you using gas with 10% ethanol? This alone will make the mixture leaner. The PCM does some modelling of airflow within the intake manifold and adds or subtracts fuel to compensate for the effects of changing rpm and pressure. When you get the hesitation, does pumping the gas pedal make any difference? Doing this would inject more fuel. When you put the 24lb/hr injectors back, did the magnitude of the hesitation change? What is the pressure at which these injectors are supposed to flow 28lbs/hr? You will have changed the volumetric efficiency of the engine quite a bit with your mods, and I presume this is why you are using 28lb/hr injectors. The black ICM you are using is the correct one.Īs you mention a MAP sensor, then it's safe to say you do NOT have a California MAF sensor system. ![]()
